The music for Loop was largely composed and mixed in the Rotunda Gallery at the Corcoran. Seven speakers sit 18 feet up, equally spaced around the perimeter pointing upwards at the center of the dome. In this unique environment sounds appear to form and emanate from locations just above the observer's head. The phantom sources then dissipate and others form.
